In the Gryphons' only game of the week, Smith led all players in scoring in the team's loss at NYU Polytechnic on Nov. 19. The junior transfer anchored the offense with 19 points while bolstering the defense with game highs of nine rebounds and two blocks. Smith also went 6-for-6 from the charity stripe.

For his efforts, Smith was named Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference Basketball Rookie of the Week.

On the season, Smith has led Sarah Lawrence in scoring in each of the team's first three games. The forward is averaging 11.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game since transferring from University of South Florida. He is 8-for-9 on free throws and has tallied five blocks and four steals in the early goings of the season.
