Rookie Cameron Rudd (Portland, Ore.) broke two men's swimming school records in as many meets in the Gryphons' final week of 2012 competition.

On Dec. 12, Rudd showed off his endurance by breaking the school mark in the 1000 yard freestyle. After 40 lengths of the pool, he touched the wall in 14:14.75 to eclipse the record set by classmate Paul Latislaw set early this year.

Two days later, Rudd recorded Sarah Lawrence's only school record of the day in action against Bard College and Purchase College.  He broke his own mark in the 100 yard backstroke with a swim of 1:13.24.

Along with the 200 backstroke standard, Rudd now possesses three individual school records. He has also contributed to all five relay records.
