Sam Amberchan (Menlo Park, Calif., Menlo-Atherton) earned three victories as the Gryphons won their fourth-straight Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Swimming Championship on Sunday.

Amberchan won her first title as a member of the Green and White 200 yard medley relay, which secured its victory in a time of 2:11.77. The 50 yard freestyle saw her take first place in a time of 30.38 seconds, while the rookie won her third race of the day in the 100 yard butterfly, when she stopped the clock at 1:14.85.

Amberchan was one of 12 Sarah Lawrence medalists, while the Green and White won 10 of 11 events in the meet. She joins Alexis Bates, Ariana Peschke and Jay Pulitano as the only four competitors to win three events.
