Three Gryphons Selected to HVIAC Honor Roll

NEW YORK—Three Sarah Lawrence College student-athletes were among those honored as Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Honor Roll student-athletes for the week ending Sept. 29, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
 
Caleb Jaster (New Hampton, N.H./Sant Bani) • Men's Cross Country
Jaster has led the Gryphons in every race this season, finishing in 77th at the CSI Developmental Meet after completing the 8K course at Van Cortlandt Park in 34:15. Jaster has now been selected to the HVIAC Honor Roll for four straight weeks.
 
Ishaan Pujari (Bangalore, India/Inventure Academy) • Men's Soccer
Pujari scored goals in each of the Gryphons HVIAC games on the week. After scoring the game's first goal in a loss at Berkeley, the junior scored an equalizing goal in the triumph over King's. Pujari's HVIAC Honor Roll selection is his first of the season.
 
Moni Spancheska (Skopje, Macedonia/NOVA International) • Women's Tennis
Spancheska won both of her singles matches on the week as the Gryphons were edged out twice, 5-4. The freshman was victorious against Cedar Crest, 6-3, 6-3 at No. 6 singles and made her debut at No. 5 singles vs. Cooper Union taking a 10-3 win to improve her ledger to 4-1 in singles play. Spancheska has been selected to the HVIAC Honor Roll for the second-straight week.
