Six Gryphons Named to Skyline All-Sportsmanship Teams

NEW YORK—Six Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons were among the 63 student-athletes named to the Skyline All-Sportsmanship Teams for the 2014 Fall sports season, as announced by the league on Wednesday.

The honorees are now semifinalists to receive the 2014-15 Male & Female Sporting Awards, which will be voted on by the conference's directors of athletics at the conclusion of the academic year. Each member school may select one women's and one men's student-athlete as finalists.

"I applaud these student-athletes for serving as an example and displaying good sportsmanship throughout their season," says Skyline Commissioner Linda Bruno. "Sportsmanship is vital aspect of the Skyline mission and it is my privilege to recognize these athletes for their sincere appreciation of the athletic experience."
