AN EARLY PUSH
Sarah Lawrence forced the tempo early, drawing two corner kicks in the first two minutes of action. The effort led to a solid shot by Finn MacMillan (London, U.K./Bryanston), but the strike was deflected off a defender and out of bounds.

THE COUNTERATTACK
The visitors took control of the game and kept the ball on their offensive end for much of the opening half. Keuka goals in the 10th, 13th and 21st minutes quickly put the contest out of reach. KC added scores in the 31st and 40th minutes to take a 5-0 halftime lead.

SCORELESS SECOND HALF
The Sarah Lawrence defense settled down in the second half. Keuka still managed to pull the trigger on 12 shots in the period, but the SLC back line limited the damage to just four shots on goal. SLC tallied a few shots on set pieces but was unable to slip the ball into the Keuka net.

FOR THE GRYPHONS
Skyline Rookie of the Week Mohamed Camara (Macenta, Guinea/New World) had two shots in the game, while fellow rookie Colin Berg (Franklin, Mass./Mount Saint Charles Academy) also posted two shots. Alix Legrand (Damascus, Pa./Scranton Prep) rounded out the offensive effort. Between the pipes, James Berry (New York, N.Y./Kent) was dinged up with five goals but made six saves on the day.

WOLFPACK ARMY
A total of 29 players took the field for Keuka, including a committee of three goalkeepers. Ben Schreiber led the team with two goals and an assist, while Matt Hey and Christian Hewitt each scored their first goal of the season. Preston Vick earned the win in goal, while replacements Willie Romero and Kevin Canales had one save apiece.

UP NEXT
