COBLESKILL, N.Y.—In the team's second race of the season, Sarah Lawrence College women's cross country placed sixth at the 2016 Steven A. Warde Cross Country Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill on Saturday.

Rosa Mykyta-Chomsky (Philadelphia, Pa./Germantown Friends School) led the Gryphons across the line in 11th place, posting a time of 21:07. Sophomore
Isabel Edmonds (Appleton, Wisc./Appleton North) followed in 26th with a time of 22:11, and classmate
Molly Walsh (Yarmouth, Maine/Yarmouth) ran a personal best 22:23 to follow in 27th. Senior
Allyson Panton (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) also ran a personal best to earn 31st in 22:55, and junior
Katie Shepard (Visalia, Calif./Mount Whitney) rounded out the scoring five with a time of 23:01, good for 33rd place.

Katherine Labadie (New Orleans, La./Benjamin Franklin) set a 5K personal best, crossing the line in 23:47 as the sixth-fastest Gryphon and 44th overall. Junior
Tiffany Meier (Goleta, Calif./Olive Grove Charter) completed her season debut in 23:56 for 45th place.
Melissa Molina (Union, N.J./Roselle Catholic) ran the first 5K of her senior season in 26:52, good for 63rd, and junior
Dani Dyen-Shapiro (Estero, Fla./Cypress Lake) ran a personal best of 28:55 for 73rd place.

Natalie Wyse (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) completed her first collegiate 5K with a time of 27:21, earning 67th place overall.
Zhe Wu (Guangzhou, China/Nansha College Prep. Acad.) clocked in at 32:18 (78th) in her debut race, and
Brooke Remsen (Rye, N.Y./Convent of the Sacred Heart) reached the line in 33:40 (79th).
