Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Variable offense triumphed, and seven Gryphons had multiple kills, as Sarah Lawrence College women's volleyball swept Yeshiva University, 3-0, in the teams' 2016 Skyline Conference opener at Noyes Court at Campbell Sports Center on Thursday. With the win, the Gryphons improved to 3-0 on their home court this season.

Francesca Kohani (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon) landed six kills in each of the first two sets, outhitting the Maccabees squad that finished the day with 10 kills total. Sarah Lawrence had no trouble putting away the first set, and in the second set, Yeshiva turned a four-point deficit into a five-point advantage while Head Coach
Jillian Kalvik experimented with iterations of her lineup. The Gryphons scored 12 of the next 15 points to erase any doubts and earn a 25-21 win. Yeshiva opened the third set with a seven-point serving run, but the Gryphons reeled in their opponents and used a six-point run to tie the match at 11-11 before closing out the sweep.

Setter CJ Kelly had 20 assists in the match and racked up eight kills, six digs and five service aces. Libero
Lauren Kilroy (King of Prussia, Pa./Country Day Sch. of the Sacred Heart) switched jerseys and had four assists in the match, posting four digs, three kills and three aces. Rookie

THIS IS GETTING WEIRD
In all five matches this season, Kohani has led the Gryphons with exactly 12 kills. Thursday's effort was noteworthy because the rookie outside hitter needed only two sets to reach the total, having sat out the third set.
IN THE RECORD BOOK
With the victory, the Gryphons have won three matches on their home court for the first time since 2012—a season that ended with a Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Championship in the program's penultimate season in the league.
