RECAP
It was a hard fought battle between the two teams in the second meeting of the season, as the Rams looked to avenge a 98-96 home loss to the Gryphons earlier in the year.

It was a game of runs in the opening half, highlighted by eight ties and four lead changes. With neither squad sustaining separation from the other, it was a 32-32 score at halftime.

In the second period, knotted 45-45 with 14:36 on the clock, Sarah Lawrence outscored Farmingdale State 17-7 over 6:52 to hold a double-digit lead (62-52) with 7:44 remaining.

Farmingdale State, who entered the day winners of back-to-back games, shrunk the margin with a 16-6 spurt over 6:30 to tie the game 68-68 with 1:14 left in regulation.

Sarah Lawrence took the lead with 47 seconds remaining with a pair of free throws from Jamaleddine. Farmingdale State answered on the other end with a 3-point attempt, but a foul call put Matthew Graham on the line, as he hit all three attempts to put the Rams up one point (71-70) with 37 seconds remaining. Graham scored a game-high 23 points for the Rams, hitting all 15 of his free throw tries.

The Gryphons missed a jumper on the next possession, forcing Sarah Lawrence to foul to stop the clock. Graham hit two more free throws to extend the Rams (73-70) lead with 19 seconds left. The Gryphons had a final look as time expired, but were unable to convert.

Before the game, Sarah Lawrence Athletics unveiled a new 1,000th-point banner for assistant coach and former Gryphon standout Graham Gilleran '17.
