Women’s Cross Country Runs at Golden Eagles Invitational

BETHPAGE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence women's cross country team competed Saturday at the Golden Eagles Invitational at Bethpage State Park.

Janey Bombara was the Gryphons' No. 1 runner, coming in 59th overall with a time of 22:37, a season-best. Fernanda Standora crossed the finish line in 22:50, a season-best performance, followed by Lea Perry in 23:12, her best 5k of the season.

Lia Lewine finished the race in 26:32, followed by Natalie Wyse (28:53) to round out the Gryphons contingent.
