Women’s Cross Country Runs in MSMC Knight Invite

MILTON, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence College women's cross country team competed Saturday at the 12th Annual MSMC Knight Invite at Hudson Valley Sportsdome.

Competing at the site of the 2019 Skyline Cross Country Championships, Janey Bombara was the Gryphons' top finisher, posting a time of 30:28, a season-best. Fernanda Standora finished two spots behind Bombara in 30:34, also a season-best performance.

Lea Perry crossed the finish line in 31:48, her best 6K run of the season, followed by Caroline Beegan, who turned in her best 6K effort of the year with a time of 35:54.

Lia Lewine finished in 36:52, shaving two seconds off her season-best 6K, followed by Natalie Wyse (37:17) and Sasha Madden (39:42).
