FLEMINGTON, N.J. – The Sarah Lawrence College men's cross country team opened the 2019 season Friday at the Ramapo Season Opener at Deer Path Park.

In his first race in a Sarah Lawrence uniform, Guy Demarco was the Gryphons' No. 1 runner, finishing in the top half of the field with a time of 18:21.98. His time is the second-fastest 5k ever ran by a Gryphon in program history.
Mario Jerez had a strong showing in his first race of the year, finishing in 18:46.56, now the third-fastest time in team history.
Nathaniel Gabor was the third Gryphon to cross the finish line, followed by Sigmund Tschernich, Lee Brown and Michael McCabe.
