BETHPAGE, N.Y. –The Sarah Lawrence men's cross country team competed at the Adelphi Cross Country Invitational Friday at Bethpage State Park.

RECAP
For a second straight week, racing against Division II and Division III programs, Guy Demarco was the Gryphons top finisher. Running in his first 8K with Sarah Lawrence, the junior finished 29th among 109 participants with a time of 29:11, the fourth-fastest finish in team history.

Mario Jerez finished among the top half of the field, placing 50th with a time of 31:40. Nathaniel Gabor was the Gryphons' No. 3 runner with a mark of 33:01, followed by Lee Brown (38:16), Michael McCabe (38:45) and Sigmund Tschernich (39:15).
