MILTON, N.Y. - The Sarah Lawrence College cross country team wrapped up its 2021 season, competing in the Skyline Conference Tournament held at Hudson Valley Sports Dome on Sunday afternoon. 

The 6K team placed eighth out of 11 teams, averaging a time of 39:51. Lena Kalotihos had the best finish of the day for the Gryphons. The sophomore from Palo Alto placed eighth out of 99 runners, completing the course in 26.52.2. The performance earned Kalotihos second team All-Skyline recognition.

Milana Goldburt was the second Gryphon to cross the finish line, turning in a time of 33:50.0 and placing 34th. Alejandra Pasquel recorded a time of 39:58.

In the 8K, Will Tway recorded the best time for the Gryphons, placing 36th out of 108 total runners. Lee Brown crossed the finish line at the 43:38.9 mark. Lorenzo Leva was not far behind, posting a time of 48:36.4.
