THROGGS NECK, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College men's swimming placed fourth at the midpoint of the 2015 Skyline Swimming Championships, hosted by Maritime College at Riesenberg Aquatics Center on Friday. Action concludes on Saturday beginning at noon.
The day was highlighted by a record-breaking performance from junior
Cameron Martinez (Aledo, Texas/Aledo), who shattered the Skyline Championship record in the 200 butterfly, beating the previous mark by six seconds.
Through seven of 14 events, SLC scored 18 team points. The host Privateers took first with 75 points, followed by Mount Saint Mary College with 54 points. Purchase College edged out the Gryphons with 21 points, while Old Westbury (6) and Mount Saint Vincent (2) rounded out the championship field.
