TRIPLE DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Three Gryphons earned a double-double in the same match for the second time in Gryphon history. Less than a week after Skyline Rookie of the Week CJ Kelley (Las Vegas, Nev./Basic) posted the program's first ever triple-double, fellow rookie Seven Green (Akwesasne/Frank Sinatra Sch. of the Arts) accomplished the same feat on Friday night. Green led the team with 12 kills, adding 11 assists and 12 digs, earning her first double-double in the process. Kelley had her second career double-double with 24 assists and 16 digs. Junior Yolanda Lyne Cando (Arlington, Va./H-B Woodlawn) rounded out the trio with 12 kills and 13 digs for her first career double-double. The previous occurance of three double-doubles in the same match was on November 11, 2012, when Brooklyn Moore, Kitty O'Sullivan and Zoë Spanbroek each reached double figures in multiple categories.

GRYPHONS TAKE SET ONE
Kelley served up a 5-0 run to start the match, giving Sarah Lawrence an early boost. Pratt scored four straight points to close a five-point deficit to one at 12-11, but SLC won eight of the next nine points to expand the advantage to 20-12. The Cannoneers stormed back with a six-point rally and evened the score at 22-22. The visitors fought off a pair of Gryphon set points to tie the match again at 24-24, but Sarah Lawrence clinched the set by taking the final two points, 26-24. Cando led all players with six kills in the frame, while Green had three kills and junior Monet Thibou (Brooklyn, N.Y./Elisabeth Irwin) recorded two kills and an ace.

PRATT GETS EVEN
Pratt won the opening point and led the set from start to finish, bolstered by eight kills from Hannah Calderwood. After the Cannoneers went in front, 6-2, SLC failed to get the deficit back under three points. Sarah Lawrence stayed within reach at 17-14, before Pratt pulled away, 25-17. Green led the Gryphons with four kills and six digs in the set.

GRYPHONS BITTEN BY ERRORS
In the third set, Sarah Lawrence took an early lead and held it to 15-12. A 7-0 run turned the tide in favor of Pratt, and Sarah Lawrence never got the gap under two points in the 25-22 Cannoneer set. Sarah Lawrence racked up 11 kills in the set, but those were erased by 11 attack errors. Kelley led the offense with four kills, while libero Marie Richter (Chemnitz, Germany/St. Andrew's School) totaled 12 digs in the set.

PRATT SEALS THE DEAL
Sarah Lawrence fell behind early in the third set, 5-1, but the Gryphons stormed back with a 7-1 rally to take an 8-6 edge. The teams were neck-and-neck for two thirds of the set.
