Zack Roccaforte (Albuquerque, N.M./Albuquerque Academy) led the Gryphons for the second-straight week, crossing the line in 36th place at 30:20. The effort marked a personal best at the 8K distance.
CONSISTENCY IS KEYJunior
Pat Newsom (South Bend, Ind./John Adams) followed Roccaforte five spots back in 41st. He has finished as SLC's No. 2 runner in each of this season's three races, and his time of 30:36 is a season best at 8K. Sophomore
Daniel Higinbotham (Alpharetta, Ga./Homeschooled) was the next SLC runner across the line. His 32:51 run was good for 70th overall and his three times from this season have hovered within a one-minute range.

SEASON BESTSAri Runanin-Telle (Fairfax, Va./Sir Francis Drake) finished in 108th, stopping the clock at 36:29. Sophomore
Jules Christeson (San Francisco, Calif./San Francisco Waldorf) took 119th on the day, reaching the finish at 41:18. Both runners posted season-best efforts on the day.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence has a two-week break before racing at the Mount Saint Mary Knight Invite on October 3. The race serves as a preview of the Skyline Championship, to be held on the same course on October 25.
