BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's swimming team opened its 2019-20 campaign Saturday with an 82-54 victory over Queensborough CC at Campbell Sports Center.

INDIVIDUAL WINNERS
Chaz Stafford was victorious in the 200 free, touching the wall in 1:52.23, nearly 28 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. The sophomore was also the top performer in the 100 back, finishing the race in 1:01.46.
Miles Washington won the 50 free, turning in a time of 23.51, nearly nine seconds quicker than the next swimmer. The sophomore also took first-place in the 100 fly with a mark of 1:01.91.
Making his collegiate debut,
Nicholas Alpi was victorious in the 100 free, touching the wall in 1:16.52.
Bryce Williams also made his Sarah Lawrence debut Saturday, taking first-place in the 500 free with a time of 5:54.21.
RELAYS
Sarah Lawrence was the top squad in the 200 free relay, as a foursome of Stafford,
Mani Roshandel, Williams and Washington finished in 1:39.58.

Sarah Lawrence is back in the pool next Saturday (Oct. 26) with the SLC/TYR Sprint Carnival. Meet time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
