STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – In a final tune up before the Skyline Championships, the Sarah Lawrence men's swimming team had a dual meet with Staten Island on Saturday at CSI's Sports and Recreation Center.
GRYPHONS VICTORIES
Chaz Stafford was victorious in two events, including the 1,000-free (10:31.50) and 100-back (1:00.79).
Miles Washington was the top performer in the 50-free, touching the wall in 23.56. The sophomore was also the runner-up in the 100-fly with a time of 58.75.
Mani Roshandel won the 200-IM, posting a time of 2:08.99, nine seconds quicker than the second-place finisher. Roshandel was also the runner-up in the 100-breast, finishing in 1:03.23.
In the 200-free relay, a team of Washington, Roshandel,
Bryce Williams and Stafford were victorious with a time of 1:38.50.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Williams was the runner-up in the 200-free with a time of 2:09.42.
