For the first time this season, Jay Pulitano (Mountain Lakes, N.J., Mountain Lakes) was named Swimmer of the Week by the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference (HVWAC).

Pulitano picked up his first win of the week with a victory in the 200 individual medley against SUNY Old Westbury. He also finished runner-up in the 100 back, trailing only teammate Ariana Peschke. In Saturday's showdown with St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, Pulitano posted top times in three events, including an individual win in the 1000 freestyle and the day's best mark in the 100 breaststroke. He also swam as part of the winning Green and White 200 yard medley relay.
