Elle Blanchet, one of the women's soccer team's tri-captains was instrumental in the team's first season as a varsity program. SLC climbed the ranks to finish third in the regular season rankings. The Gryphons advanced to the postseason and made an appearance in the semifinals of the HVIAC Championship.

Blanchet started all 14 games for the Gryphons, playing every minute of the 2013 season. She scored her first varsity goal in a 3-2 loss to York College on Sept. 5, and she totaled 12 shots on the season. Blanchet helped the defense preserve three shutouts in 2013.
