Race ResultsALLENTOWN, Pa.—Three top-15 performances lifted Sarah Lawrence College women's cross country to a third-place finish at the 2014 Mule/Falcon Invitational, hosted by Cedar Crest College and Muhlenberg College on Saturday.
In her season debut, sophomore
Natalie Grieco (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Fenwick) finished the course in 17:23.5, taking eighth place in the overall standings. Rookie
Katherine Shepard (Visalia, Calif./Mount Whitney) just missed a top-10 finish, posting a time of 17:44.8.
Senior
Elizabeth Emery (Mexico, N.Y./Mexico) was the third Gryphon to cross the finish, stopping the clock at 18:40.9, good for 15th place.
Senior
Sarah Janosky (Pittsburgh, Pa./Pittsburgh CAPA) (22:34.2) and rookie
Marisa Acosta (San Diego, Calif./Canyon Crest Academy) (22:51.1) also finished among the top five Gryphons, solidifying SLC's third place finish in the team standings.
First year
Georgia Cohen (New York, N.Y./UNC School of the Arts) (23:14.7) was the sixth SLC harrier to cross the line. Rookie
Tiffany Meier (Goleta, Calif./Olive Grove Charter) (23:58.9) made her collegiate debut, while classmate
Nawshin Abanti (Dhaka, India/International School Dhaka) posted a mark of 24:22.6.

Melissa Molina (Union, N.J./Union) completed the course in 27:30.3, and rookie
Danielle Dyen-Shapiro (Estero, Fla./Cypress Lake) finished in 31:38.2.
