BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's tennis earned its third win in as many matches, defeating non-conference opponent Cedar Crest College, 7-2, at Andrews Courts on Tuesday.

PREVIOUS MEETINGSThe Gryphons have met the Falcons on two prior occassions. In 2013, Cedar Crest won 5-4, and in 2014, Sarah Lawrence won by the same score. The 7-2 margin of victory is the largest by either team in the series.
IDENTICAL TRIPLETSSarah Lawrence got off to a perfect start by sweeping the three doubles matches, each by an identical 8-2 margin.
GOING STREAKINGAt No. 1 doubles, senior
Nora Landes (Los Angeles, Calif./Cleveland Humanities Magnet) and sophomore
Sofia Reh (Villanova, Pa./Radnor) won their first three games and six of the first seven to take a 6-1 advantage en route to victory.
In the No. 2 match, senior
Autumn Atkinson (Manasquan, N.J./George School) and junior
Juliet Slade (St. Paul, Minn./Central) fell behind 2-1 but won the next seven games to close out their win.
Finally, in the No. 3 spot, seniors
Sarah Fiordaliso (Buffalo, N.Y./Sweet Home) and
Lane Garber (Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) won five straight games to expand a 2-1 edge into a 7-1 advantage.
REDEMPTIONIn the No. 3 singles spot, Reh scored the fourth team point of the match. She won six of the first seven games before calmly closing out an 8-3 victory. By winning both her matches on the day, Reh avenged a pair of losses to the Falcons in 2014.
SEAL THE DEALAtkinson had the honor of scoring the decisive point in the match. At No. 2 singles, she closed out her match in just under an hour, winning the last five games of an 8-3 match to put the Gryphons out of reach, 5-0. Atkinson improved to 5-1 all-time against Cedar Crest.
THE FALCONS GET ON THE BOARDCedar Crest's Jamie Wojciechowski got her own redemption of sorts. After losing the No. 1 singles match last season, the Falcon junior won this year, 9-7. Landes recovered from a 6-3 deficit to even the match at 7-7 but her Cedar Crest opponent prevailed. Cedar Crest also went on to win the No. 4 singles match as Falcon Kyleen Sisson won six games in a row to pick up an 8-2 victory.
TIME TO MAKE THE DONUTSThe No. 5 singles match saw Fiordaliso cruise through her match. She closed out an 8-0 shutout in an impressive 23 minutes to improve to 8-0 on the season.
BACK-TO-BACK VICTORIESAfter an 0-2 start to her season,
Moni Spancheska (Skopje, Macedonia/NOVA International) is back to even footing after winning her second-straight match. The junior broke open a 6-1 advantage in the No. 6 singles match and picked up an 8-2 victory. She improved to 2-0 all-time against Cedar Crest.
UP NEXTSarah Lawrence travels to Albertus Magnus on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match. After returning from the Constitution State, the Gryphons host the College of New Rochelle on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m.
