IN THE RECORD BOOKThe 5-1 start to the season is the team's best start since the team went 7-1 playing in the Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference in 2010. The five-match winning streak is the team's longest since that same season. SLC improves to 21-2-1 all-time against CNR, and the Gryphons have not lost to the Blue Angels since 2001.
MAKING QUICK WORKThe teams started with singles matches, and junior
Juliet Slade (St. Paul, Minn./Central) played expeditiously. In the No. 4 match, she won 12 straight games to shutout her Blue Angel opponent, 6-0, 6-0. Senior
Autumn Atkinson (Manasquan, N.J./George School) followed a few minutes later, closing out a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles, her fourth-straight singles win.
STOPPING THE SKIDSenior
Nora Landes (Los Angeles, Calif./Cleveland Humanities Magnet) faced CNR's toughest opponent but came away with the win in No. 1 singles. With the 6-2, 6-3, triumph, Landes picked up her first individual win of the season.
CLINCHING VICTORYJunior
Moni Spancheska (Skopje, Macedonia/NOVA International) was the next Gryphon to finish her match. She cruised to victory at No. 5 singles, 6-0, 6-1, winning her third straight match. Sophomore
Sofia Reh (Villanova, Pa./Radnor) clinched the match for the Green and White. Her 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles gave Sarah Lawrence a 5-0 edge in team scoring, sealing the win.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGESenior
Gabrielle Greiner (Houston, Texas/St. Agnes Academy) played her first match on her home court and handled the pressure with ease. She took the No. 6 singles match, 8-1, completing the sweep of all six singles matches.
DOUBLESSLC's doubles partnerships proved equally effective. Atkinson and Slade dominated the No. 2 match, 8-0. Between the two Gryphons, the duo won three matches on the day while yielding just one game. At No. 3 doubles, senior

Lane Garber (Los Altos, Calif./Los Altos) were equally successful, winning, 8-0. In the last match on the courts, Landes and Reh won the No. 1 doubles match, 8-1.
