BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College women's swimming improved to 4-0 on the weekend after picking up a pair of Skyline dual meet victories over SUNY College at Old Westbury and St. Joseph's College Brooklyn at Campbell Sports Center on Saturday.

WINNING GRYPHONS
Three different Sarah Lawrence swimmers touched the wall first in all of their events. Rookie
Naima Joy Mackrel (Woodstock, N.Y./Kingston), who leads the team in scoring this season, cruised to victory in the 50 yard freestyle (26.62) and 100 backstroke (1:06.87). Reigning Skyline Swimmer of the Week
Hannah Lawson (Portland, Ore./Pacific Crest Community School) was victorious in the 200 individual medley (2:25.95) and in her first-ever 500 freestyle (5:46.46). Sophomore
Devon Peal (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) earned wins with a season-best 1000 freestyle (12:12.37) and her first 100 butterfly (1:07.96).
Senior
Gabrielle Risica (Narragansett, R.I./Narragansett) joined Peal, Lawson and Mackrel in putting together the day's fastest time in the 200 freestyle relay (1:50.62). For her part, Risica won the 100 freestyle (1:01.70) and finished third in the 50 freestyle (27.94).

Jacqueline Quirk (Millburn, N.J./Millburn) swam two season bests with the fastest time in the 100 breaststroke (1:19.53) and a runner-up effort in the 200 individual medley (2:34.36). Junior
Elizabeth Kroll (Sacramento, Calif./The Met Sacramento) rounded out the winners with victory in the 200 freestyle (2:19.65) and a second place in the 100 backstroke (1:12.41).

Lydia Mullan (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) and rookie
Sarah Blanche Klein (Locust, N.J./Ranney School) combined for a time of 2:16.73, missing first place by 0.42 second.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Individually, Klein placed second in the 1000 freestyle (14:25.58). Mullan took one second off her personal best in the 200 freestyle (2:37.20). Junior
Rachel Barkowitz (Fleming Island, Fla./Dedham (Mass.)) improved upon her best 200 IM time by more than a second with a new personal record of 2:45.96. Senior
Sky Mihaylo (Albany, Ore./West Albany) smashed her 100 butterfly personal record by 15 seconds with a new best of 1:26.74. Rookie
Kaitie Dilan (Tolland, Conn./Tolland) highlighted her day with a third place in the 500 freestyle (7:17.99).
UP NEXT
Sarah Lawrence returns to action in two weeks. The Gryphons are set to compete at the TCNJ Invitational, December 2-4. The team's final home meet of the semester is scheduled for December 10 against Purchase College and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
