Box Score 2 FARMINGDALE, N.Y.—Taking on the defending Skyline conference championship, Sarah Lawrence College softball was defeated by Farmingdale State College in a Skyline doubleheader at FSC Softball Field on Sunday.

GRYPHON HIGHLIGHTS
SLC rookie
Olivia Henry (Pittsburgh, Pa./Sewickley Academy) hit 2 for 2 in game one, recording the Gryphons' first hit in the second inning. Sophomore
Riley Vuyovich (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) hit a double in the third inning. SLC's only run of the day came in the fourth inning of the first game. Henry doubled down the left line and advanced to third on a single by rookie
Mikayla Cunningham (Mayville, Mich./Millington). Sophomore
Em Hammett (Columbus, Ohio/The Wellington School) batted in the run on a single up the middle as the Gryphons notched three hits in the inning.
Vuyovich doubled again in the lead-off spot of game two. Junior
Erin Chafatelli (Nashville, Tenn./McGavock) had SLC's only other hit of the contest with a single in the third inning.
In the circle, sophomore
Kamaron McNair (Lawrenceville, N.J./The Hun School) had the start in game one, while Cunningham pitched game two. Vuyovich made a relief appearance in both games, allowing just three hits in two and one third innings pitched.
FOR THE RAMS
Meagan Anderson hit for a cycle in game one, and Jaxie Collard earned the win on four innings pitched. In game two, Breanna Susa hit her first home run of the season while Collard earned a second win with two hits over three innings.
UP NEXT
Sarah Lawrence hosts three Skyline games this weekend. The Gryphons host Mount Saint Mary College in a makeup series on Friday before hosting St. Joseph's College Brooklyn on Saturday and College of Mount Saint Vincent on Sunday.
