BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Sarah Lawrence men's and women's swimming teams earned two victories each as the Gryphons hosted Queensborough Community College and Mount Saint Mary on Saturday afternoon.
The men's team defeated MSMC 78-57 and beat QBCC 81-20. The women's team beat the Knights 90-45 and the cruised past the Tigers 98-10.
The 200 medley relay team of
Genevieve Chiappetta,
Claudia Lopez-Ona,
Drew Lei-Alerta, and Audrey De Szendeffy won with a time of 2:05.15. The men's relay team of
Chaz Stafford,
Mani Roshandel,
Miles Washington, and Henry Bethell won the event as well, posting a time of 1:50.84.
De Szendeffy earned a victory in the 1000 Free, tallying a time of 12:03.63.
Chaz Stafford won the 200 Free, completing the race in 1:52.61.
Eva Guarda Vazquez took first place in the 50 Free with a time of 28.20.
Miles Washington won the same event on the men's side with a time of 23.57.
Chiappetta and Roshandel were victorious in the 200 IM with times of 2:33.47 and 2:04.41, respectively.
From there, the Gryphons went on to win seven more events, solidifying the final scores.
