NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. - The Sarah Lawrence College men's and women's swimming teams competed in the Metropolitan Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend. Several program records were broken, including the men's 100 breaststroke, the men's 200 breaststroke, the women's 100 butterfly, and the women's 200 freestyle relay.
DAY 1
Frankie Iannuzzi tallied a time of 25.65 seconds in the 50 Free finals.
Miles Washington posted a time of 21.83 in the 50 Free finals.
Chaz Stafford finished the 500 Free finals with a time of 4:50.72.
Mani Roshandel had a 200 IM final time of 1:57.69. The 200 Medley Relay team of
Genevieve Chiappetta,
Frankie Iannuzzi,
Drew Lei-Alerta, and Audrey De Szendeffy posted a time of 1:54.25.
Day 2
Drew Lei-Alerta set the school record in the 100 butterfly, finishing the race in 58.67 seconds.
Mani Roshandel set the school record in the 100 breaststroke, recording a time of 57.64 seconds. The 200 Free relay team of
Drew Lei-Alerta,
Genevieve Chiappetta, Audrey De Szendeffy, and
Frankie Iannuzzi set a new school record with a time of 1:43.71, finishing seventh out of 16 teams.
Day 3
Mani Roshandel broke the school record in the 200 breaststroke, finishing the race in 2:06.90.
