UPDATED: Results were revised on 12/7/2014. After originally being awarded fifth place in the 100 breastroke final, Chu's time and place were corrected to 1:06.15 for third place. The SLC 800 free relay was also corrected to a non-scoring entry. In addition, McAlevy's time in the backstroke has been invalidated; however, his placing has been allowed to stand.

MADISON, N.J.—Sarah Lawrence College men's swimming broke two more school records and a meet record while retaining a fourth-place standing at the conclusion of day two of the 2014 Ranger Invitational, hosted by Drew University, Dec. 5-7, at F.M. Kirby Pool.

The SLC 200 yard medley relay squad began the evening with the first record-breaking swim of the night. Junior Cameron Martinez (Aledo, Texas/Aledo), sophomore Jack Chu (Hong Kong/Irvington (Calif.)) and rookies Albert Riley (Long Beach, Calif./Wilson) and Brendan McAlevy (Fairfax, Va./Paul VI Catholic) put together a swim of 1:46.67, taking second place in the race. The effort knocked off the Gryphons' oldest men's relay record, set a mere 364 days prior at last year's meet.

Senior Jay Pulitano (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes) represented the Green and White in the 400 individual medley. He swam a season-best of 5:28.62 to earn second place in the event.

Martinez and Riley swept the top two positions in the 100 butterfly. Martinez set a new Ranger Invitational record for the third-straight season, touching the wall in a season-best 51.02 seconds. Making his collegiate debut in the event, Riley followed closely behind in 56.03 seconds for second place.

In the 100 breaststroke, Chu knocked off the second SLC record of the day. He swam a preliminary time of 1:06.66 to better his own school record in the event. Chu returned in the final to swim a 1:06.15, improving upon his record and earning him third place in the final.

McAlevy qualified for the final in the 100 backstroke. In a tight three-way finish, McAlevy touched the wall fifth.

The Gryphons concluded the evening with Martinez, Chu, Riley and Pulitano earning second place in the 800 yard freestyle relay. In the team's first attempt at the event this season, the foursome's time of 7:55.15 came 11 seconds shy of the SLC record mark.

During Saturday's preliminaries, sophomore Nick Ransom (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale) swam a personal best in the 100 breaststroke and also swam a season best in the 100 butterfly. Senior Owen Marks (Pittsfield, Mass./Pittsfield) swam a season best in the 100 backstroke with a personal best in the 200 free, and Amit Sankaran (San Francisco, Calif./Mallya Aditi International) made his 200 freestyle collegiate debut.

After two days, Division II Queens College (130 points) leads the field, followed by host Drew (111) tied with Fairleigh Dickinson-Florham (111). Sarah Lawrence is in fourth (97), and Ocean County College (50) rounds out the field.

Action at the Ranger Invitational concludes on Sunday with preliminaries starting at 9 a.m. and finals at 4 p.m.
