Match Results vs. Farmingdale State
BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Snapping a two-match winning streak, Sarah Lawrence College men's tennis was defeated by Purchase College, 9-0, in Skyline action at Andrews Courts on Saturday. On Sunday, the Gryphons traveled to Farmingdale State and were dealt a 9-0 defeat.
In doubles action, Purchase (5-2, 3-1 Skyline) swept all three matches without dropping a game.
Skyline Rookie of the Week
Andre Garibaldi (New Hope, Pa./New Hope-Solebury) won three games in his opening set in the No. 2 singles match. At No. 1 singles, senior
Elliott Warkus (Waimea, Hawai'i/Parker School) won a pair of games in his first set.
Playing in the No. 3 position, sophomore
Aidan O'Brien (Mansfield, Conn./Edwin O. Smith) picked up one game in each set in his loss, while the Panthers cruised to victory in all six spots.
Sarah Lawrence (2-5, 0-4 Skyline) returned to action on Sunday and were dealt a loss at Farmingdale State (7-2, 2-0 Skyline).

Juan Sucre (Caracas, Venezuela/ASFM (Monterrey, Mexico)) won a pair of games in the No. 2 doubles match. At No. 3 doubles, O'Brien and
Ben Dougherty (Brooklyn, N.Y./The Beacon School) also won two games.
Garibaldi again won the most singles games for the Gryphons, falling in the No. 3 match, 6-2, 6-1. Sucre and Dougherty each won two games, playing at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
Sarah Lawrence plays its final Skyline match of the season on Saturday when they host St. Joseph's College Long Island at noon.
