Box Score 2 BRONXVILLE, N.Y.—Sarah Lawrence College completed its third doubleheader in as many days by hosting College of Mount Saint Vincent in a Skyline doubleheader at Mary LeVine Field on Sunday.

GAME ONE
Sarah Lawrence was held to three hits in game one of Sunday's twinbill. Junior
Erin Chafatelli (Nashville, Tenn./McGavock) was the Gryphons' first base runner after her third-inning single to right field. For their part, Mount Saint Mary did the bulk of the damage with five runs in the top of the third, expanding the lead to 9-0 through four innings.
In the bottom of the fourth, sophomore
Riley Vuyovich (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) reached second base on a dropped fly ball, advancing to third on a ground out. Sophomore
Kamaron McNair (Lawrenceville, N.J./The Hun School) erased the shutout with an RBI-single to left center field, scoring Vuyovich. Rookie
Baylie Petit (Sycamore, Ill./Sycamore) also had a hit in the inning, but the Gryphons only came away with the one run.
From the circle, Cunningham threw four innings, striking out two Dolphins. Vuyovich pitched an inning of relief, notching a strikeout for her effort. CMSV's Rachel Heizer struck out six batters while giving out one unearned run.
GAME TWO
Each team recorded one hit in the scoreless first inning of game two. Vuyovich started off the contest with a single through the left side but was stranded at second base. The Dolphins went down in order in the second inning, while sophomores
Sarah Shapiro (Germantown, Md./Northwest) and
Em Hammett (Columbus, Ohio/The Wellington School) both singled in the bottom of the frame.
CMSV looked to score in the third inning, putting runners on second and third base with one out. Starter McNair worked her way out of trouble and escaped without a run.
In the bottom of the third inning, rookie
Taryn Penna (Sparta, N.J./Sparta) led off with a single through the middle. Vuyovich came to the plate and launched her fourth home run of the season and sixth of her career, putting the Gryphons in front, 2-0.
Mount Saint Vincent was held to one run in the fourth inning. Chafatelli and McNair teamed for SLC's seventh double-play of the season. In the fifth, CMSV scored six runs on seven hits, giving the visitors a 7-2 advantage. SLC was held without a hit for the remainder of the game, and two Dolphins were plated in the sixth inning to round out the scoring.
McNair and Cunningham exchanged pitching duties in the game. McNair went for 4.2 innings, while Cunningham was dealt the loss on two earned runs over 2.1 innings. Kathryn Dalton had two strikeouts in her sixth win of the season.
IN THE RECORD BOOK
Despite the loss, Sarah Lawrence snapped a streak of eight meetings in which the Dolphins scored 11+ runs against SLC. The Gryphons never held Mount Saint Vincent to fewer than 10 runs in both halves of a doubleheader in the teams' nine prior doubleheaders dating back to SLC's first varsity season in 2005.
