NEW YORK—Two Sarah Lawrence College Gryphons were among the student-athletes named to the Skyline All-Sportsmanship Teams for the 2016 Spring sports season.
The honorees are now semifinalists to receive the 2015-16 Male & Female Sporting Awards, which will be voted on by the conference's directors of athletics at the conclusion of the academic year. Each member school may select one women's and one men's student-athlete as finalists.
SOFTBALL
Sophomore
Em Hammett (Columbus, Ohio/The Wellington School) started in the outfield at all 31 games of the 2016 season. She had three multi-hit games and ended the season on a five-game winning streak. An always-positive and vocal member of the team, Hammett collected Skyline Honor Roll accolades on April 26 after an impressive 3-for-7 outing at Old Westbury.
MEN'S TENNIS
