MVP: Cameron Martinez (Aledo, Texas/Aledo)Coaches Award: Nick Ransom (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale)POSTSEASON: 4th Place, Skyline Championship SLC ATHLETE OF THE YEARSKYLINE ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAMSKYLINE MEN'S SWIMMING SCHOLAR-ATHLETE OF THE YEARCameron Martinez (Aledo, Texas/Aledo)For the third year in a row, the junior was honored as a Sarah Lawrence College Athlete of the Year. A first-team all-Skyline honoree, he won three Skyline titles and repeated as UNYSCSA Champion in the 100 and 200 yard butterfly while posting NCAA Championship qualifying times for the second year in a row. As of the conclusion of the 2014-15 season, Martinez held eight individual program records and a share in all five of the team's relay records. In addition, the Skyline Conference recognized Martinez as its Men's Swimming Scholar-Athlete of the Year, honoring him as the first-team all-conference student-athlete with the highest GPA during the fall & spring semesters.
ALICE STONE ILCHMAN SCHOLAR-ATHLETEJay Pulitano (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes)Pulitano participated in swimming all four years, breaking team records on 24 occasions. He currently holds two SLC records in the 800 yard freestyle relay and 400 yard individual medley. Pulitano is a three-time all-academic honoree and two time all-conference selection, and he won six Hudson Valley conference titles. He is only the fifth four-year varsity swimmer in SLC history.
SKYLINE COACH OF THE YEAREric MitchellCompleting his fourth season at SLC, Mitchell took the helm of the men's and women's swimming programs in 2011-12. His Gryphons have broken all school records during his tenure, and the men's team had its first-ever winning season in 2013-14. In the school's inaugural season in the league, Mitchell became the first SLC coach to capture Skyline Conference Coach of the Year accolades.
SKYLINE ALL-SPORTSMANSHIP TEAMNick Ransom (Bakersfield, Calif./Stockdale)A sophomore, Ransom faced a potentially career-ending injury but worked through his recovery to become one of the team's most-consistent contributors. He scored in each of the team's meets this season, amassing over 70 points. He set personal bests in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard breaststroke, and he scored a season-high 27.75 points in the team's season opener, the third-most of any team member at the SLC Sprint Carnival.
